Privacy Notice.

In short

Olomni Presence (the Olo desktop app, the phone remote and the shared memory) is built so that your code and your prompts stay on your computer. Only what is needed to notify you and remember things goes to your account: each session’s status, permission requests, the memories your AIs save and what you send from your phone. We don’t sell your data and we use no advertising or third-party trackers.

Olomni Presence: what stays on your computer

• The text of the prompts you write to your agent, your code and file contents, and your AI’s full responses.
• The agent handoff (“where things were left” per project): stored only in a local file (handoffs.json, readable only by your user), with keys and tokens redacted. It is shared only between your AI sessions, in that project, for 72 hours and at most 3 entries. Turning off “Let your AIs remember…” disables it.
• The observed state of each project: when a turn ends, Olo reads on your computer the git branch, which files have uncommitted changes (only their names and the size of the change) and whether the last test, build or lint passed or failed. It is kept in a local file per project (without the folder path, only its name), given to the next AI you open in that project, and never leaves your computer. You can see and delete it in Olo → Memory → “What your next AI will know”. The same switch turns it off.
• Notes between AIs (decisions, things that didn’t work, next step) that your AIs leave with the local handoff_note tool: kept in that same local file, with keys redacted, and shown to the next AI as “unverified”. If a note looks like an instruction, a link or a secret, Olo holds it and it reaches no AI until you allow it. They expire after 60 days.
• If you ask to open another AI in a terminal (Mac), the handoff is written to a private temporary file on your computer that is deleted as the AI starts. It doesn’t go through our servers.
• Your device keys, in a file in Olo’s config folder readable only by your user.

Olomni Presence: what goes to your account

• Each session’s status: whether your agent is resting, thinking, working or waiting, with a short text (up to 140 characters) like “Editing payment.ts”, which may include a file name, and a numbers-only summary when done (files, commands, searches, minutes). It never includes file or prompt contents.
• Permission requests: a description of the action your agent wants to take (up to 300 characters, e.g. “git push to main”), its risk level and your answer. Your agent writes that description, so it may contain project names or commands.
• What would really happen: when the action is a risky command (e.g. git push --force or rm -rf), Olo works it out on your computer and sends a few short lines with counts, like “Would erase 3 commits from origin/main” or “Would delete 120 files (4 MB)”. They may include a branch name; never file names or contents.
• Questions from your AIs: when an AI asks you something, the question (up to 300 characters), its options and your answer (up to 500 characters) go through our servers to reach your phone and get back to the AI. They are kept like permission requests.
• “Hand off to another AI” from your phone: only which AI you chose goes up. The handoff itself (what was done, where it was left) is built and stays on your computer.
• Messages from your phone: if you send a message or a stop order to your AI from the remote, the text (up to 2,000 characters) passes through our servers until it reaches your computer.
• Memories: facts your AIs decide to save (e.g. “this project uses pnpm”, up to 500 characters). They start unconfirmed; you see, confirm, edit or delete them. To search them by meaning, a vector of each memory is computed on our own infrastructure and not sent to any third party.
• Devices: your computer’s and each phone’s name, usage dates and, if you enable notifications, the notification address your browser assigns. Notifications travel empty: neither Apple, Google nor Mozilla receives the text of the request.
• Olo progress: daily counters (memories, finished tasks, streak days), your chosen accessory and, if applicable, your founder number.
• Invitations: who invited you and whom you invited with your code.
• Feedback: the message you send from Olo, the web or the phone, with limited context (version, system, language, browser, connected agents and the screen you wrote from). We contact you only if you allow it.

How long we keep it

• Session status: 7 days.
• Permission requests and questions from your AIs: 30 days.
• Memories, devices, progress, invitations, phone messages and feedback: until you delete them or close your account.
• Revoking a device deletes its notification address and stops it instantly.

Olomni web assistant

If you also use the web assistant (olomni.com/app), we collect: (1) your email, when you create the account; (2) data from the apps you choose to connect (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Slack, Notion, etc.) via OAuth, only with your authorization and only the permissions you approve; (3) the content of your interactions with the assistant (messages, executed tasks), used to remember your business context; and (4) basic technical data (IP, browser) for security and abuse prevention. We use it to run the tasks you ask for, maintain your operating memory, bill credits and contact you about your account.

Who we share data with

We don’t sell your data. We use providers to operate the service, each only for that purpose: Supabase (database and server functions), Vercel (web hosting), Sentry (web error reports), Anthropic (language model of the web assistant; Olomni Presence sends neither your prompts nor your code to any model), Composio (OAuth connection to your apps) and Stripe (payments, if you sign up for a paid plan). Phone notifications use your browser’s service (Apple, Google or Mozilla), with no content. The home page loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP when you open it. Your data may be processed outside your country; all connections are encrypted (HTTPS).

App updates

Olo periodically checks for a new version; it sends your operating system, architecture and version, and verifies each update’s cryptographic signature before installing it.

Your rights and controls

In your Profile you can see and delete your memories, revoke devices, export all your data and delete your account, which also deletes everything from Olomni Presence. You can also ask by writing to ops@olomni.com; we reply within a reasonable time. You can uninstall Olo at any time: the local files live in the app’s config folder.
