How to uninstall Olo and delete your data.
By the Olomni team · Updated
Disconnect each AI from Olo’s Manage tab, unpair the desktop from the ⋯ menu, drag the app to the trash, disconnect your phone from You → This phone, and delete your data from your Profile at olomni.com/app. Each step can be done on its own.
Step by step
- Open Olo’s panel, go to Manage and disconnect each AI: Olo removes only its own entry from that AI’s configuration and leaves a
.olomni-backupcopy next to the file it touched. - In the panel’s ⋯ menu choose Unpair this desktop.
- Quit Olo and drag Olomni Presence from Applications to the trash.
- On your phone, open Olomni, go to You → This phone and tap Disconnect this phone.
- To delete what is stored in your account, sign in at olomni.com/app and use the export or delete options in your Profile.
What Olo stores in your account
Each session’s status, a numbers-only summary when a task ends, permission requests (the command, shortened and with secrets masked) and your answers, messages you send to an AI from the phone, and saved memories. Session status is kept 7 days and permission requests 30 days.
What isn’t removed automatically
If you uninstall the app without disconnecting your AIs first, their configuration files may still point to an Olo that no longer exists. That is why it is better to disconnect them first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I export my data before deleting it?
Yes, from your Profile at olomni.com/app.
Does disconnecting an AI break its configuration?
No: Olo only removes its own entry and keeps the rest of the file, with a backup copy.
